More than 1 in 88 children are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Autism occurs in all races & socio-economic groups.
Children with ASD present with a greater than 33% delay in at least 3 developmental areas. Most often, there is a presence of markedly abnormal or impaired development in social interaction, communication, and a restricted repertoire of activities and interests.
Families with children with ASD are often stressed physically, mentally, emotionally, and economically in finding their children the proper education, assistance, and related services (including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy. Symptoms of ASD are usually not recognized until approximately 2 years of age when appropriate language and social skills fail to develop. Once a child is diagnosed with ASD, it is up to the families to seek out the appropriate services for their child. The families endure exhausting searches for new services as the child turns 3 years old and again as the child turns 5 years old. The process can be exhausting, financially stressful, and daunting for the families to say the least.

If you would like to pledge a different amount, we will allocate the money toward sponsorship of a child and/or children accordingly.
